The Metropolitan has always been known by its cutting-edge attitude, legendary cocktail and late-night parties. Now, the Metropolitan is taking the quintessentially British afternoon tea into tea with a cool touch of avant-garde, waist-friendly chic.
The Afternoon De-Light menu offers all indulgence without a bad conscience and a perfect reason to skip lunch to start the evening early. The menu, ranging from oilive oil muffin, sweet and savoury cupcakes, fruit scones to ‘no-bread sandwich’, combines healthy interpretations of old classic that will appeal to modern lifestyles.
The menu is accompanied by selection of fruit infusions and an ‘Ultimate Iced Tea’ that can be served guilt-free or as Martini cocktails. The Metropolitan also introduces a seasonal selection of ‘Eco-Tini’s which are mixed with London Gin.
Afternoon De-Light is served in the Met Bar and Lobby Lounge from 3pm to 6pm Thursdays to Saturdays and costs £24 per person.
Afternoon De-Light is also perfect for celebrating those significant moments including birthdays, baby showers or discreet bridal showers. Private areas can be reserved for larger groups or the Met Bar can be hired exclusively on request. For further details please click here.
